Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of checklistforge.com (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Using the Service

You may use the Service to create, share, export and discover checklists. You're responsible for your use of the Service and for any content you create. You must be at least 13 years old to use it.

Your content

You keep ownership of the checklists and content you create. By publishing a checklist publicly, you grant ChecklistForge and other users a non-exclusive, worldwide license to view, copy, adapt and share it within the Service (for example, cloning a public checklist into their own editable copy). You can unpublish or delete your content at any time.

You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload or publish, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, deceptive, or that violates others' privacy or rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service to spam, distribute malware, or for any illegal purpose.

We may remove content or suspend access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

Accounts

You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your access secure. Checklists created without an account are tied to a private edit token stored in your browser; losing it may mean losing access to that checklist.

Service “as is”

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported files will meet every requirement. Keep your own copies of important checklists.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChecklistForge is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of the Service.

Changes & termination

We may update, suspend or discontinue the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. You may stop using the Service at any time.
